O Instituto Basta está dando mais um passo importante em sua missão de proteger crianças e adolescentes e enfrentar violações de direitos em territórios de alta vulnerabilidade social. Desta vez, a iniciativa acontece na região do Rio Anapu, no arquipélago do Marajó, onde a instituição desenvolve ações voltadas à promoção da proteção, da dignidade e do fortalecimento comunitário.
Reconhecida pelos desafios sociais e geográficos que impõem barreiras ao acesso a serviços essenciais, a região demanda atuação contínua e articulada para o enfrentamento de violações como a violência sexual, o tráfico de pessoas, o trabalho infantil e outras formas de exploração.
Por meio dos eixos Educação & Cultura, Assistência & Proteção e Advocacy & Incidência, o Instituto Basta vem promovendo ações de conscientização, fortalecimento da rede de proteção, acolhimento e mobilização social, buscando gerar impacto positivo e duradouro nas comunidades atendidas.
Um espaço para fortalecer a proteção no território
Para ampliar e consolidar essa atuação, o Instituto Basta lançou uma campanha de arrecadação destinada à construção de seu primeiro escritório no Marajó.
O espaço será um ponto de apoio fundamental para o desenvolvimento das atividades da organização, possibilitando acolhimento, atendimento, organização de projetos e fortalecimento da presença institucional na região. Mais do que uma estrutura física, o escritório representará continuidade, proximidade e compromisso permanente com as comunidades locais.
A meta da campanha é arrecadar R$ 20.000,00, valor que contribuirá para custear a estrutura básica do espaço e os desafios logísticos característicos da região, incluindo transporte fluvial, aquisição de materiais e adequação do ambiente para atendimento e realização das atividades.

Instituto Basta Launches Campaign to Build Its First Office in Marajó
Instituto Basta is taking another important step in its mission to protect children and adolescents and confront rights violations in territories of high social vulnerability. This time, the initiative takes place in the Rio Anapu region of the Marajó archipelago, where the organization carries out actions focused on promoting protection, dignity, and community strengthening.
Recognized for the social and geographic challenges that create barriers to access to essential services, the region requires continuous and coordinated action to address violations such as sexual violence, human trafficking, child labor, and other forms of exploitation.
Through its pillars of Education and Culture, Assistance and Protection, and Advocacy and Outreach, Instituto Basta has been promoting awareness actions, strengthening the protection network, providing support, and driving social mobilization, working to generate lasting positive impact in the communities it serves.
A space to strengthen protection in the territory
To expand and consolidate this work, Instituto Basta has launched a fundraising campaign to build its first office in Marajó.
The space will serve as a vital support point for the organization’s activities, enabling care, service provision, project coordination, and the strengthening of institutional presence in the region. More than a physical structure, the office will represent continuity, proximity, and a permanent commitment to local communities.
The campaign goal is to raise R$20,000, an amount that will help cover the basic structure of the space and the logistical challenges specific to the region, including river transportation, acquisition of materials, and preparation of the environment for service delivery and activities.
